Attorney Michael S. Parousis is a dedicated and compassionate family law attorney with 19 years of experience guiding clients through life’s most difficult transitions. He specializes in divorce, child custody and support, spousal maintenance, property division, and domestic violence matters, always striving to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. In addition to focusing on family law matters, Attorney Parousis has successfully represented clients in hundreds of civil and criminal matters in the District Court, the Superior Court, and the Federal Court of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He has extensive trial experience and is well-seasoned in litigation discovery, which is paramount in any family law matter to advocate for his clients’ best interests effectively and to achieve the best possible outcome for them.

Attorney Parousis received his law degree from New England School of Law in 2005. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New Hampshire, and is admitted to the United States District Court of Massachusetts and the United States District Court of New Hampshire.
A native of New Hampshire, Attorney Parousis spent his formative years in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. He earned his bachelor’s degree in social studies/secondary dducation from the University of South Florida (Tampa Campus) in 1999, graduating cum laude. Before attending law school, he served as a middle school history and special education teacher in Tampa, an experience that continues to inform his compassionate and thoughtful approach to legal representation.
He frequently participates in continuing legal education to stay current with evolving family law statutes and trends. Before joining our firm, Attorney Parousis was a solo practitioner focusing on family law matters throughout Massachusetts. In that capacity, he provided each client with compassion, zealous representation, and respect.
