Jennifer Sinclair is an associate attorney at Popovitch Law LLC, assisting clients and senior attorneys with divorce, modification, custody and support matters. Jennifer has her bachelors degree with a concentration in social sciences from Harvard Extension School, which she earned while working in retail and as an administrative assistant. She then received a paralegal certificate from Suffolk University in 2009, and went on to graduate from Suffolk University Law School’s evening division cum laude in 2013.
During law school Jennifer held internships with the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Division, and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. After passing the bar, Jennifer worked first in Massachusetts for the legal arm of an economic consulting firm, where she assisted on financial fraud cases. She moved to Maine in 2018, where she worked in legal services for the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Maine and in contracts for University of Maine System.
While working for the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Maine, Jennifer orchestrated and ran courthouse family law legal clinics in North Central and Downeast Maine. Watching pro bono attorneys at work, Jennifer was impressed with their caring and dedication. Upon her return to Massachusetts in 2023, Jennifer chose to work in family law because of this experience. She wants to help clients with dedication and heart, to make one of the most difficult times in a person’s life a little easier.
