
Luann Way-Ann Liang is an associate attorney at Popovitch Law LLC, where she is known for her energetic and passionate advocacy on behalf of her clients. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate complex legal issues with compassion, clarity, and confidence.
Luann earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut before obtaining her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, she distinguished herself through both scholarly excellence and leadership roles. As a judicial intern for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, Luann conducted in-depth legal research and drafted orders, gaining firsthand insight into the power of skillful advocacy and the intricacies of the judicial process.
Beyond her academic achievements, Luann is an active presence in her communities, including throughout law school. She served as a Notes & Comments Editor for the Connecticut Law Review, where she honed her legal writing and analysis skills. As a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board, she competed in Las Vegas, refining her oral advocacy skills. Additionally, she was deeply involved in student governance, serving as the American Bar Association Representative and Chair of the Civic Engagement Committee, where she worked to promote public service and community engagement.
Luann’s passion for guiding clients through challenging legal matters, particularly in family law, drew her to this field. She understands the deeply personal nature of legal disputes and is committed to helping clients find solutions that protect their rights and interests.
